Why do I paint? It fills the empty spaces in my life-those gaps between family, friends and everyday moments. It brings joy and opens me to the magic of possibility. Ultimately, it is always about expression, play, freedom and plenty of fun without any excuses. My work is an exploration of living with arms wide open—being present, enjoying the moment, and staying curious about where the next “something” might lead. It’s about the journey we all share: the highs and lows, the quiet moments and breakthroughs, and the beauty that emerges when we let life shape us. These are the spaces where creation is born, and our uniqueness comes to light. I paint expressive, bold, and colourful art that mirrors the emotional and energetic rhythms of being human. Each piece is a slice in time, alive with movement and feeling, present, immediate and offering a glimpse of what’s beyond the edges—possibility, presence, and stories still unfolding. My work is full of visual energy, representing the bits and pieces that make life rich, layered, and real. My process is intuitive, led by brushstrokes, shapes, and colours that reflect where I am. I’m deeply inspired by nature—lightning storms, frozen leaves, cracked sidewalks, and the weathered beauty of time. My shapes are organic, and my marks have been described as lyrical, often echoing a rhythm rooted in my love of classical music and poetry. People often say my work feels like a language—one you can step into, explore, and respond to. That’s what I hope for. I want viewers to come close, discover hidden details, and find their own meaning in the colours and forms. Art is a conversation, and I’m always excited to share mine.
