I think I have always been a maker, but joining the Canadian Embroiderers’ Guild helped me to explore a wider range of textile skills.  There I found a place in  a group of art doll makers who exhibited together for several years, and later joined Connections Fibre Artists for a short time.   An interest in paper led me to a bookbinding group as it was forming in London; and books led to boxes, which I produced for an annual sale here in London.
