Linda Armstrong

Linda Armstrong is a Canadian textile artist based in London, Ontario, working in wool through wet and needle felting. Her wall pieces are needle felted from undyed Icelandic fleece, built up in tone rather than colour to capture the landscapes of Iceland. Her wet felted vessels use merino and bergschaf wool, Kozo paper, and hand stitching to explore the land’s shapes and formations. Iceland remains her central inspiration.
