Lyle Goorvich

I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from York University, followed by a B. Ed. and a career as an elementary teacher. My artwork is motivated by the challenges and pleasures I experience in the process. Subject matter derives from things that interest and affect me: literature, music, philosophy, politics, visual art, human behaviour, and psychology. I think of my finished work as an outcome at the intersection of ideas and materials. My hope is that the result will resonate with the viewer.
