Susan Garrington

Susan is a self taught, award winning artist whose work has been shown in juried exhibitions locally, nationally and internationally. She is an elected member of The Canadian Society of Painters in Watercolour, the Ontario Society of Artists, The Federation of Canadian Artists, and the Colour and Form Society. Susan lives and works in London Ontario with her husband, Brian. "My work relies on close observation of the local, the ordinary and the often overlooked. I work outdoors in my sketchbooks. My on location sketches are integral to my work. They inform and underpin everything I paint. They allow me to get to know and understand my subject so that once back in my studio I am free to play, imagine and create."
