Roderik Mayne

In my current figurative work I am not as concerned with the likeness or personality of the subject as with the mood and design of the piece as a whole. In my dancer series  I want to convey a feeling of motion and spontaneity in an extremely painterly way. I hold a master’s degree in fine arts from Carnegie-Mellon University (Theatre - Set and Costume Design), a BFA in design from Concordia University and a BA in anthropology from McGill University. I currently work in the film and television industry.
