Nora Kozak

I grew up in a small southwestern Ontario town in a home with paintings of my aunt’s . From a young age, I was interested in drawing and painting . This interest was fuelled my aunt’s work and her daughter who was an art teacher.  When it came time to enter the working world , I went into  the medical field of imaging.  My love  of art never waned  and when I retired I complemented my self-taught practice with workshops and courses.  Today I work  predominantly in oil and cold wax. The  intricacies and  uniqueness of the human body fascinates me  and much of my work  focuses on the figure specifically figurative abstraction.
