Brenda Veitch-Scriven

Brenda Veitch-Scriven was born in London, Ontario and studied art at U of T, OCAD and Concordia University(MFA). “My approach to mark making is painterly and expressionistic as a means to create narratives drawn from common objects and scenarios within the domestic realm. My colourful compositions are both representational and abstract, and include images and text that are at intended to be both playful and just a little bit unsettling. "
