Annette Vander Heide

Annette Vander Heide is a self-taught artist who lives in Canada and has painted for over 20 years. Growing up in a rural community helped foster her love and appreciation for nature. Art was put on hold as life became busy but she carved out enough time for art studies through workshops and evening courses. These helped shape her work into what it is today. Working in oils and acrylics, her main interest is in the Ontario landscape. Annette’s goal is to incorporate as much light and colour as possible into her nature scenes to give them warmth and vibrancy. She is an affiliate member of several artists’ associations and participates in several shows throughout the year.
