  • Biography

As a young girl I would spend hours watching my Mother sew.  She sewed everything, from clothing to home decor items.  She even reupholstered our furniture.  I grew to love anything fabric.  I eventually became an upholsterer and my love of fabric grew.  I am now semi-retired and enjoy more time doing what I love best, which is  creating art quilts.  I am inspired by nature and by people.  I love to make landscapes and portraits of animals using all kinds of fabrics with all the different textures and colours that are so unique in material.  These days I've been having fun with human portraits and thread painting.  I love to spend my days creating beautiful fabric pieces.  My love of fabric continues.
