    Linda Ross Gallagher (1952- )

    Bio:
Plein Air painting (outdoor, on location) is the foundation of Linda Ross Gallagher's work, seeing with all of her senses involved.

Her life is experience-rich and varied. She has painted since childhood. Isolated from others, she lived in nature, painting what she saw. While a mother of 2, there were many moves across the continent in all types of settings. In the City, her art revolved around architecture, cityscape and figurative subway themes. In the 90’s she painted among Western plein air landscape painters through the Leighton Foundation, Alberta, and Emma Lake, Saskatchewan, Workshops.

As she says,“If I can inspire others to ‘see, hear, feel, taste, touch,’ to connect deeply through my art and plein air experiences to the healing of Nature, special moments, places or people, or to the making of art themselves, I have accomplished something worthwhile.
