John Huggins

Born in 1973 John was raised in Timmins, Ontario a mining and logging town. John moved to Toronto at the age of 18 to study Illustration at Sheridan College in Oakville, Ontario graduating with honours. Following college John worked as a Freelance Illustrator for number of years having success with a several well-established publications in North America. During this period, and while working various day jobs John realized he wanted to illustrate his life and began painting. Over his years in Toronto John had numerous private art shows at a variety of eclectic venues; a Jazz club on Roncesvalles, to a coffee house on Parliament including a winners place at the juried Cabbage Town Arts and Crafts Show. During this time John met his wife Nancy and eventually moved to London, Ontario 12 years ago, and continues to paint the life and times we are currently living in.
