Biography

I am an amateur, hopefully turning-professional, artist from Komoka, Ontario. Entirely self-taught, I have spent the last few years refining my oil painting technique. Inspired by black and white photography, I use my own wildlife photos as the subjects of my paintings, and, mingled with the techniques of the old masters, I try to marry the traditional oil painting methods together with modern materials and technology.
